Catherine Chandler-Crichlow, Dean, School of Continuing Studies, along with Erica Walker, Dean, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education have been appointed as Provostial Advisors on Lifelong Learning, from November 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026. Building on the University’s existing strategy to provide opportunities for learners at various stages of life, they will collaborate with academic divisions and community partners to promote educational initiatives for life-long learners, including courses, certificate programs, and micro credentials. Their work will include exploring innovative pedagogies, digital platforms, and delivery models that support engagement for learners.

In 2021, Dr. Chandler-Crichlow joined U of T from Western University where she served as Executive Director of Career Management & Corporate Recruiting at the Ivey Business School. She has a PhD from OISE, an EdM from Harvard University, and a BSc and a post-graduate Diploma in (Science) Education from the University of the West Indies.
