Principals, Deans, Academic Directors, and Chairs (PDAD&C)
Academic Administrators who have been appointed under the Policy on Appointment of Academic Administrators, as well as certain other senior administrators, are members of the Principals, Deans, Academic Directors, and Chairs Committee (PDAD&C).
The committee is convened by the Vice-President & Provost as a consultative and advisory body. PDAD&C discusses particular issues or developments as well as receives annual updates on topics ranging from the budget to human resources. The committee meets regularly during the academic year and also receives targeted communications via the Provost’s Weekly Digest.
2024-25 Meeting Dates
For the 2024-25 academic year, PDAD&C meetings will occur on the dates below from 10:10am to 12:00pm in person, convening at Simcoe Hall, with remote videoconferencing available at UTSC and UTM.
The agendas will be sent directly to all PDAD&C members the Tuesday prior to each meeting. Administrative staff in need of the agenda must contact you as their PDAD&C member to obtain a copy of the agenda. Please mark these dates in your calendar. Due to the size of the meeting, there will be no calendar invite.
Please note that only PDAD&C members and designated senior administrators are permitted to attend these meetings. PDAD&C members may request permission to assign a designate to attend a particular meeting on their behalf by emailing provost@utoronto.ca at least two days prior to the meeting.
All PDAD&C members automatically receive the Provost’s Weekly Digest each Friday, which includes all new memoranda. Assistants to PDAD&C members, as well as other administrative staff, faculty, and librarians are welcome to request subscription online.
