Provost’s Biography
Trevor Young is Vice-President & Provost at the University of Toronto. He was previously Vice-Provost Relations with Health Care Institutions and Dean of the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, and has also served as Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and the Cameron Wilson Chair in Depression Studies. He is a Professor in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine’s Departments of Psychiatry, and Pharmacology and Toxicology, and a Senior Scientist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Professor Young is a clinician-scientist who studies the molecular basis of bipolar disorder and its treatment. He has published more than 250 peer-reviewed journal articles and has held more than 35 peer-reviewed grants.
