Christine Concannon is the recipient of the Emerging Leader Award for her innovative thinking and empathetic leadership.  

As the Assistant Registrar of Student Financial Systems in the University Registrar’s Office, Christine is characterized as genuinely caring about the well-being and growth of her colleagues, demonstrating that leadership is about more than just giving orders, but leading by example and ensuring tasks are completed effectively. It is her calm demeanor under pressure that has helped effectively execute such successful projects as the Awards Payments App, Award Explorer, Need Navigator, and many other students-focused projects.

Christine encourages a culture of continuous learning and professional development within her team, leading initiatives like team-building exercises and volunteering with her team for events such as the Registrarial Conference and Data Summit. Through her efforts, Christine has transformed relationships with Student Accounts stakeholders by building strong relationships with Planning & Budget, Finance, ITS, and divisional clients. She also spearheaded documentation of crucial processes and delivering informative presentations on Student Account topics.
